Unshielded: Senior Concert
Senior Capstone Piece
Xedera's Senior Capstone Piece, Healing, debuted in November 2019, during the Unshielded draft concert. It was intended to be presented in Towson Dance Company's Concert, but was postponed to the Company Concert in 2021 due to COVID-19. The work is about sexual assault and the healing process after it happens. The piece highlights the rawness, authenticity, ugliness, and beauty that come with healing from trauma, as well as the importance of those close to her during this journey. You can watch the performance in her videos on the Home page.

American College Dance Association
Choreographer
Xedera will be returning to American College Dance Association (ACDA) in March 2020 to present her work, River Styx, at University of Maryland in College Park, MD. The piece was a trio originally choreographed in October of 2019 for Towson University's Inertia Concert. The work is abstractly based on the River Styx, a place between the living and dead world in Greek Mythology. The piece is set in the 1800s and each of the dancers' characters has a different story and "sin" that landed them there. Some of the movement was also derived from their individual sins.

Carrie: The Musical
Choreographer
Xedera will be choreographing Carrie: The Musical for Actors Anonymous at Towson University. She is choreographing a total of seven numbers for the performance which will debut November 2nd and 3rd, 2019. This will also be her debut into the Musical Theatre world for choreography.

American College Dance Association
Choreographer
Xedera will be presenting her work, I Am Not, at the American College Dance Association (ACDA) in March 2019 at Seton Hall University in Greensburg, PA. The piece was originally choreographed in February of 2018 for Towson University's Dance Majors Performance Project. The work is a quartet based on the idea that explores their journeys of self discovery, and learning how they truly cannot help each other, until they learn to ask for help for themselves. Additionally, Xedera will be performing in Occupy, an excerpt from Hope Landscape choreographed by Vincent E. Thomas.
