Artist Bio

Xedera “X” Natalia began her training at age three studying ballet and tap at Broadway Bound Dance Academy in Media, PA. Soon after she added jazz, hip-hop, pointe, contemporary, lyrical, and modern into her diverse training and additionally, trained in ballet, modern, and contemporary with Rock School West in West Chester, PA for some time. Xedera went on to pursue her dance career studying a wide range of styles at Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, VA. During her time at Shenandoah, she performed in numerous works with choreographers such as Jacob Brent, Shylo Martinez, and Robert J. Priore. After finding a love for choreography, she moved to Towson University and furthered her performance and composition studies, while picking up a minor in Business Administration. Upon transferring to Towson University, Xedera trained with Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell, Catherine Horta-Hayden, Vincent Thomas, Alison Seidenstricker, and many others who helped expand her artistic vocabulary, while performing and choreographing every semester. Xedera was honored to have her choreography presented in the American College Dance Association Conference (ACDA) in 2019, where she also performed in a work set by Vincent Thomas. She had her work presented again at ACDA in 2020. In her final semester, Xedera was thrilled to end her Towson career as a part of Towson University Dance Company, where she would have been performing as well as having her senior capstone, Healing, be presented in the Company’s concert, Mood in May 2020. Although things did not go as planned, she still enjoyed her senior year to the fullest. After graduation, Xedera performed with Coalesce Virtual Dance Collective as a guest artist performing works by Maddie Hanson, Mikaela Sinclair Brandon, and Kylie Vinitski. Currently, she is pursuing a master’s degree in Business Administration at American University. Her plans include continuing to perform in commercial and concert work before transitioning to choreography. She looks forward to eventually owning her own company and studying Entertainment Law to become an agent for other dancers.
